@RazorsKiss @kris Country music is hugely popular with young people here. There are different types of country music of course, as other genres, but most of the country music radio stations cater to the younger crowd.
@randal It has been so common that, as I was growing up and realized that it was a "southern" form, I was surprised!
@randal @ChiaChatter if you were to switch on a popular radio station, it would be mostly pop. Keep hearing this song #numblittlebug and it's popular and depressing.
@Marbleturtle @randal Yes, I'm sure most popular radio stations play "pop" (popular) music though I don't think I've listened to pop music since the 70s so I don't know that song. They're still, I'm assuming, catering to the younger crowd also...?
